Surviving Spring Break...

Well, here comes another big clump of blog posts. It is the end of April and I am just now getting to post about what happened all through March and April. Sorry this is so delayed, but we just can't seem to catch a break. I also got a new phone that has a new camera...and it took me about a month to figure out how to get the pictures onto the computer...and actually be able to use them in blog posts.  It took me asking Andrew to set up a quick link so I could find the folder.
So, onto surviving spring break. First of all, I had a TON of fun stuff to do though out the entire week the kids were home. We were going to go to Flipside, the Zoo, the Play Pool, a playdate here, Jambo Park...just a ton of stuff to have a great spring break. The first day (being Saturday) Henry woke up with Pink eye. So, we missed out on a birthday party. He was healthy enough by Monday to take him into Public and we went to Flipside. We had a great time.  We played in the giant climber, some video games, and we even tried Mini-Bowling.  Which would have been way more fun if they didn't have a 30 second time limit on each kid.  I don't think they realize how hard it is to organize three 6 and unders in a line to take turns quickly...plus there is the time it takes the ball to roll down the lane (which can be 15 seconds if not thrown hard).  But still a great time. On Tuesday both the kids were acting strange in the morning so we stayed home...only to have me and Jillian come down with Pink eye. Awesome...so my entire house was on quarantine.  I used 3 bottles of spray Lysol throughout the week to try and eradicate all the germs living in my house.  Unfortunately, my mom also got pink eye before the house was clear...so...Andrew was the only one who made it without issue. We were able to enjoy some warmer weather towards the end of the week.  So glad we have a nice big yard for my sick kids to play in.  Andrew also finished off the weekend with some yard camping with the kids.  They loved it!
