Karate Olympics and Belt Test

This week at Karate, they had 'Karate Olympics' as part of the summer fun. Henry won one contest where they had to punch a hand target as far as they could. Jillian tied for 3rd. We also had the kids first Belt test this morning. It was CRAZY. I thought it was going to be 30 minutes (10 to warm up and 20 to do the skills), but it ended up being over an hour! CRAZY...but super cute because there were 100+ 3-6 year olds doing karate. Jillian and Henry did great and the both got their White/Yellow belt. Henry will be switching over to the youth class and Jillian will stay with the Little Dragon program. We will see how she does by herself. Right now she is glued to Henry's side and mimics his every move. I figure it will be good to separate them.
