Belt test, Chaos and life with puppies.

November is rolling along with no slowing down in site. We had belt test this past weekend and the kids did great. I was not able to attend this one either because of a Synchro meeting that I could not miss. Chaos has disappeared. He has been gone for 4 days now, which is the longest he has ever been gone. I am hoping he will still come home next week, but if he is not back tomorrow I am going to officially call him 'lost' and make up some flyers in an attempt to see if he is living with one of our neighbors. But we will see...hope he is out there and just had enough of the puppy shenanigans. Speaking of the puppies, they are getting big. They are now twice the size (10 lbs) then when we got them a month ago. They figured out the dog door. It took watching Chaos and calling them out with treats twice and they are now pros. This was also a very good step because this helped with the housebreaking. No accidents for 24 hours! Which is great for them. The are chewing on EVERYTHING. Shoes with feet in them, chairs of the dining room, my kitchen island, toes...pretty much anything they can get their mugs on. They are getting along really well with the chickens and with Chaos. The chickens figured out to just charge and peck them and they will leave them alone. Chaos just tries to stay away unless he wants to be loved on. They still have lots of puppy energy, but they will lay with him and let him rub up on them. So, everything seems to be going good. My brother is going to be coming back in December because my mom was going to visit him in December but because of all the uncertainty about her health (she as in the hospital last week for a 'false alarm'), she is opting to cancel her trip until at least the spring. So...twice in one year...he will make the trip back just after Thanksgiving.
