Austin for Spring Break

On our way
We headed to Austin for Spring Break this year . The goal originally was to find a house, but it appears that we may have already found one.  In one of the neighborhoods that we visited when we were out in February had a new house come on the market and we put an offer on it last week.  It was accepted and we got an inspection.  It is an older house and hopefully the seller is willing to fix some things that need to get fixed in order to make it habitable.  We are still waiting to see what she comes back after we made our request.  If all goes as planned, we will be able to go see the house on Monday and be able to have a relaxing week where I don't have to look at houses.  Not that looking at houses is so bad...but there have been some Andrew has gone to that have been very interesting.  Most notably, there was one with carpet under the master bathroom toilet....ewww. Fingers crossed. We stopped in El Paso on the way.  It was a fairly inexpensive hotel, but it had a 'heated' pool.  It was heated to just above freezing...it was SO cold.  After swimming in the frigid water (at least the hot tub was warm) and we ended up eating at a restaurant right next to the hotel.  It was delicious and I ordered a margarita and it came out in a pint jar!  Needless to say, I was happy for the rest of the night.
