Easter Eggstravaganza 2012

Well, the Egg hunt was a HUGE success.  This was the first party we have ever hosted that we had 100% attendance (this means 100% of people who said they were coming actually showed up.) This did mean however that I was short a couple of goodie bags because there were 26 kids (not including Henry and Jillian so 28 total!) and only 24 goodie bags!  Oops...and I even mentioned to Andrew that we were short and he told me not to worry because everyone usually does not show up.  But we had an AMAZING spread of food (it was potluck, but we had so much yummy stuff). And we had lot of good fun. The new swing set was the talk of the town and I really think that everyone had a great time. We got to see lots of friends and we have a very full schedule for the next couple of weeks because of all the playdates we scheduled!

We also spent some time at the school park on Saturday. It was such a beautiful day we wanted to take advantage before it was too hot. Jillian had a great time, I think it was one of the first times we have been there where Jillian could actually do stuff. But we only lasted a short while. Dinner wouldn't cook itself and Andrew and I were beat from the party.

Sunday was Hot and we treated the kids to playing in the sprinklers while we did our annual maintenance on them. They had SO much fun. Definitely going to do that again this summer.

We went to a park yesterday and it was HOT again. These first few weeks of summer always take a while to get used to. Both the kids turned red from being hot within minutes of playing. But overall had a good time.

This week is business as usual, just have to get ready for all 4 birthday parties this weekend!
All lined up ready to go!

And there off!!!
